"Fantastic happy, friendly service! We were looking for a sit down breakfast. Not something they normally provide, but happily obliged us with an awesome breakfast plate. Coffees were hit and delightful! Cannot recommend highly enough!!"

"This cafe makes amazing coffee, milklab almond milk impressed me the most. The staff were friendly. Order your coffee first because it can get very busy quite quickly. It’s across the road from toilets, a jetty, a fantastic kids playground. There’s lots of grass, picnic tables. A few doors away from the laundromat, a little supermarket and a great bakery. We didn’t eat at Happy Daise but plenty of people were ordering food"

"I popped in early on my way home initially thinking of getting some breakfast, but ended up just having coffee. The food all looked amazing, but I'm fussy when it comes to bacon - preferring shortcut to rasher - so when I was told it wasn't shortcut I gave it a miss. However, the coffee was very good and getting three shots for $6.50 is a very good price these days. I also like that they put 1.5 shots in their small coffees. One shot just never seems to be enough . The young lady serving was quite chatty and friendly. However, she was also constantly playing with her hair so I hope she washes her hands before handling the food... There is only outdoor seating or takeaway, which is a bit of a shame when passing through on wet, cold or windy days. On the other hand, if the weather is fine, there are lovely park areas around by the lake."

"Great little place hidden away at end of the town of Meningie. Fresh pastries, rolls, pies, coffee, and tea. The staff were welcoming, even though they were very busy in the morning. We had a bacon, egg, and cheese brioche bun with their aioli sauce. It was well prepared and freshly made. Tasted great and just hit the spot!! The tea wasn’t so great though—it was a bit like drinking oat milk water! The seating needed cleaning. Overall recommend a visit."

"Great spot for that much needed break on the drive between Rode and Adelaide. On the main road with heaps of parking, the Cafe is easy to find and worth the stop. Really lovely staff and a great selection of locally made food and cakes. The coffee is excellent (best on the road) and great seating out the front to enjoy the sun. Toilets and the ocean across the road."
